What is the future of multi-channel marketing? Traditionally, multi-channel marketing has included a combination of communication channels, including direct mail, television, online media, and social media. The vast amount of available data, including real-time information, must be properly filtered in order to drill down to the right customer, at the right time.
PMSA is seeking presenters to help design a seminar for our winter training Symposium in 2018.  Thought leaders and consulting companies are being asked to help with this important and well-attended conference; only a few will be selected to speak, and only one company will be selected for the hands-on training workshop, from the results of this RFP.

The 2018 PMSA Symposium on Multi-Channel Marketing will address, but not be limited to, the following questions:
  • How will machine learning and artificial intelligence impact pharma marketing efforts, particularly non-personal selling? What are the best practices and learnings from other industries?
  • How can pharma leverage trigger-based marketing to reach potential customers at the right time in their patient journey?
  • What are the best ways to attribute impact to various tactics when a customer is targeted by multiple interventions?
  • What data elements are effective (targeting, contact/exposure, engagements) in the measurement of marketing tactics?
  • What are the latest advances in social media and digital analytics?
  • What kind of Data and IT infrastructure, tools, and skillset are needed to successfully implement, measure and continuously improve marketing effectiveness?
  • As salesforce numbers continue to decrease, which other channels are the most effective in reaching and influencing customers?
  • How can patient-centric marketing be translated into sales, and how are analytics and the emerging patient-level data enabling that?
  • How to design an optimal multi-channel strategy that is data/analytics driven?

The design of the Symposium is such that we will invite:
  1. One (1) trainer.  For the hands-on training workshop, we will select one company with experience providing hands-on work in this area to lead the group of attendees through a practical workshop.
  2. Two-four (2-4) speakers.  We are inviting a select few consulting companies and/or pharmaceutical manufacturers to discuss case studies with lessons learned and innovative ideas, methodologies, techniques, and processes.
The goals of the Symposium are to:
  • Foster sharing of ideas, challenges, and learning to increase overall level of knowledge and skill
  • Provide a training opportunity to ensure continued growth within Pharmaceutical Management Science
  • Encourage interaction and networking among peers
