This day and half Symposium will provide hands-on training in promotion response lead by Glenn Sabin.
Glenn Sabin, PhD. is the global leader of ZS Associate's Promotion Optimization practice area, which includes Promotion Response / ROI, Marketing Mix and Tactical Planning.

The goals of the hands-on training workshop are:

 

 

  1. To provide a practical "take-home" experience that the participants can easily apply at their current companies.  Participants will be asked to bring their laptops for this training.
  2. To appeal to participants who have limited experience with ROI analyses, promotion response, and marketing mix models, while remaining equally challenging for more advanced researchers.
  3. To contain in-depth data manipulation or analysis that can be shared or reviewed in a small- or large-group format.
  4. To have recommendations for "best practices" for analyzing and communicating results to upper management in a way that is concise, clear, and actionable.

Participants will gain:

  • Best practices in measuring ROI and promotion response for different promotional channels, and how to communicate the results
  • Insights into increasing response to promotion via different promotional channels to improve ROI
  • Insights into using other data sources in optimizing promotional spend
  • Ideas and challenges with new channels of promotion

Welcome to the NEW PMSA Website, which offers new and improved resources to support your business, manage your research and network with the professional community.

I hope that you were able to join us in San Diego for our 33rd annual main conference.  The program committee did an outstanding job pulling together a conference that was informative and scientific.  Presented papers focused on supporting hypotheses via case studies, with conclusions drawn about new methodologies and best practices.

This year's program included a new awards recognition program.  We'd like to congratulate the following winners:

This year, the board is focusing on increasing communication.  We shared information on several new initiatives during the conference including formation of a Research Consortium Committee, a Certification Program Exploratory Commitee, and a Professional Development Support Committee.  We will be sure to keep you informed about what we're working on.  We also ask that you let us know what you think.
