Position Summary:
We’re looking for a talented, committed and energetic individual to join our Advanced Analytics consulting team as a Senior Consultant / Project Manager. The Advanced Analytics Senior Consultant / Project Manager is an integral member of project teams where he/she will lead client engagements and work closely with internal project team members (analysts/associates and database staff). With an eye for details, this individual is responsible for developing analysis methodologies and processes, managing the execution by the project team and clearly presenting material to internal management and to clients. The Advanced Analytics Senior Consultant / Project Manager is also responsible for effectively communicating with all project team members including leadership on all matters related to project assignments. In this position, the Advanced Analytics Senior Consultant / Project Manager is expected to multi-task across multiple projects and project types concurrently while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.

Position Responsibilities:
Deliver results/presentations to clients, exercising sound business judgment, proactively following up on tasks as needed and managing tasks through to completion.

Client point of contact - Leads client engagements by scheduling project kick offs as well as internal and external meetings.

Project thought leader – Leverages industry experience to manage the process of developing methodology for report design, development and implementation.

Internal project resource management - Manages processes between database developers and consulting staff to effectively drive client results.

Project timelines and planning - Establishes and manages to timelines for internal and external deliverables

Communication - Drives internal communication to keep all project team members including internal leadership in the loop with project status.

Collaboration – Ability to identify client business objectives and needs (KPIs, leading indicators, etc.) and interpret requirements to database developers.

Project Delivery – Responsible for leading development of high quality client-ready content and clearly present results.

Documentation - Develops documentation of processes for efficient execution and client support.

Mentoring / training – Participate in junior staff development and training.

Position Requirements:
Education: BS or MS in quantitative, business, or other related fields and a strong Project Manager

Work Experience:

6-8 years of work experience in a life sciences consulting / data analytics environment.

Extensive experience working with life sciences sales / marketing data and patient claims / EMR data. Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView) for analytics and reporting purposes.

Proven track record of managing cross functional project teams and experience working with database development team is a must.
