Job Description:

This position will provide the expertise to perform, develop and enhance Aptus Health’s analytics function. This includes driving the analytic processes, managing data collection and aggregation, providing solutions necessary to support business development, campaign design and optimization, post sales measurement, and to provide insights to meet clients’ evolving business needs.

This role will be responsible for working with on-shore and off-shore analytics and operations teams, as well as sales and account management organizations to provide timely, robust, in-depth, quantitative analyses across AH’s digital platforms.

The position reports to the VP of Analytics and Commercial Effectiveness and will help with the broader objective of creating a culture of “enhanced data value” within the organization. This position will be based out of either the Reading, MA, the New York City office, with consideration of remote employee status.

Responsibilities
  • Apply data mining and statistical techniques to estimate physician likelihood to engage and/or respond to different digital stimuli
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques such as hierarchical linear regression to develop marketing mix models to assess the contribution of sales impact of personal and digital promotional effort and external marketing events.
  • Lead, as assigned, analytical support to client and internal initiatives, including expanding activities in specialty drug markets.
  • Work with the off-share analytics team to prepare revenue forecasts and sensitivity analyses in support of Business Development team for their marketing efforts
  • Actively participate and contribute to sales planning efforts, and manage and present post-sales performance assessments to clients
  • Support, as assigned, client requests and deliverables.
  • Be willing and able to travel for internal and/or client meeting with limited notice. Travel estimated to be up to 20% of time.
Key Skills and Competencies
  • 5+ years of professional experience in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical analytics-related roles. Pharmaceutical and digital platform industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply cutting edge statistical techniques to business problems and to leverage external thinking. Hands-on experience in promotion mix modeling, customer targeting and segmentation, digital marketing and managed care pull-through is strongly preferred.
  • Able to effectively analyze, review, diagnose and quality check reports, analysis, and modeled results
  • Proficient in organizational, presentation, time management, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for juggling multiple competing projects on tight deadlines
  • Experience and capability in communicating to internal and external clients.
  • Proficient in Excel, Access and SAS.
  • Self-motivated with a “roll up your sleeves” work style
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. engineering, math, statistics, etc.), Advanced degree quantitative discipline, epidemiology or operations research is strongly preferred
