Lead for Eliprio
How you will deliver impact?
Lead a cross-functional group of data scientists to create agile and innovative clinical decision support and population health solutions:
  • Enable our long term ambition through leading a team to develop advanced machine and deep learning algorithms capable of transforming care for patients enabling them to live at their ideal, get to control more quickly and ensure that their treatment is ideally matched to them.
  • Applying patient and stakeholder insight to co-create the most relevant solutions with cross-functional partners that will deliver patient value and ensure UCB holds a preferred space in the hearts and minds of key stakeholders and customers.
Ensure Solution development that is focused on delighting the end-user  
  • Leverage insights to develop strategies and programs in support of our priority to help ensure that patients have an opportunity to receive the right solution at the right time in their Epilepsy journey. This includes generating a deep understanding of the stakeholders that will deploy our solutions and thus delivering solutions that will exceed their expectations by filling gaps in knowledge and support while ultimately improving patient outcomes.
  • Evangelize the patient point of view, needs and interests throughout the organisation – challenging others to ensure the voice of the patient is at the heart of what we do.

 What does your profile look like for this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant life science or business-related discipline
  • MS, PhD, MD or PharmD preferred
  • 10+ years of healthcare data related experience leveraging data to improve care for patients
  • 10+ years of statistical modelling
  • 3-5+ years of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications within healthcare
  • 7+ years of healthcare related commercialization experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary and/or matrixed teams
  • Bachelors’ degree in life sciences, business or healthcare required but must be accompanied by additional professional training in health care data and analytics
  • M.S., PharmD, PhD or MD preferred
  • Must have a performance rating of « meets expectations » or better on two most recent performance reviews
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing, developing, and influencing teams
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications
  • Demonstrated strength in business planning, tactical plan development and execution
  • Therapeutic area experience in Epilepsy or Neurology preferred, but not required
